Does LBR hurt?
Most patients feel little to nothing beyond mild warmth — LBR is one of the gentlest treatments we offer, and most people need no numbing at all.
Is LBR the same as a deep cleaning?
No — LBR is a lighter, laser-only treatment often paired with a routine cleaning. If you have deeper pockets or diagnosed periodontal disease, we may recommend our fuller Laser-Assisted Periodontal Therapy (LAPT), which pairs laser treatment with a deep cleaning (scaling and root planing).
How often do I need LBR?
